Built on the Gulfstar 43 Mororsailer hull, the 43' Trawler is a conservative long range cruiser, popular in the 70's during a fuel crises. Her solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull is designed with rounded bilges, a long deep keel and moderate beam. Originally a trunk cabin design, in 1975 a raised aft deck version, the MKII was introduced with a redesigned flybridge and full teak interior. The MKII's full width aft deck allows for an enlarged master stateroom with a centerline queen berth below. The galley & dinette are down, offering a spacious salon with complete lower helm and side deck access doors P&S. Additional features include near standing room in the engine room, wide side decks, and protected underwater running gear.
